The Project
A 6000sq.m light industrial extension to existing GE facilities, with 630sq.m offices. The project was a fast-track one, with the design phase and construction phase progressing over 12 months. The complexity of the project lay in ‘get everything right first time’ – employing fast-track building methods to achieve a high standard of finish. Essential to the project was the co-ordinated design team work and the integration of energy-efficient technologies. The project included the erection of a steel frame with external cladding.
Our Role
Full Architectural, Civil, Structural and Fire Engineering services provided as well as PSDP and Assigned Certifier. We were the project lead and employers’ representative and were involved in the full project management of the development, from inception to completion.
We are currently completing Phase 2 of the project for Shannon Commercial Properties.
